The Aitutaki Lagoon Resort & Spa

An intimate collection of 36 bungalows include 7 Overwater Bungalows, the only overwater bungalows in the whole of the Cook Islands which enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Aitutaki Lagoon and direct access to the inviting lagoon waters below.

Each rooms is fitted with a super king size bed, and receives a nightly turndown service, daily housemaid service and room service from 07:00 until 21:00.

Nestled in coconut groves, the Garden Bungalows offer a secluded garden settling with glimpses through coconut palms, wild hibiscus and bougainvillea of the lagoon beyond.The Garden Bungalows are located centrally to all resort facillities, including the restaurants, pool and island beaches.

The Beachfront Bungalows sit on the white sands of Motu Akitua and look out across the translucent aqua waters of the O'otu ('Full Moon') Channel and Aitutaki Lagoon, including views of the main island with its fustling palm trees.

The spacious Deluxe Beachfront Bungalows are located on absolute beachfront upon the islands pristine white sand shores with a spectacular, uninterrupted view of the vast blue lagoon. Under the cool shade of coconut palms, the Deluxe Beachfront Bungalow features a super king bed sitting on a raised platform, affording an uninterrupted view from the bedroom across the sitting area and out towards the spectacular lagoon vista.

Close to the bungalows are hammocks strung under the palms right beside the serene lagoon, the ultimate in relaxation.

The Overwater Bungalows are the premier accommodation at The Aitutaki Lagoon Resort & Spa, and indeed the Cook Islands. They feature stylish tropical decor which is distinctively Polynesian with walls lined in pandanys and natural tapa cloth and carved Cook Islands artifacts adorning the room. These bungalows are complete with wide opening sliding doors onto the verandah and a super king size bed.

Steps meander down to the lagoon from the bungalow verandah giving you direct access to the lagoon waters below. The spacious bungalow bathroom features an open-air shower in a private walled garden and double wooden vanity.
