You will visit the main township of Arutanga and head towards the coastal village of Nikaupara. Stop briefly at Vainamu, a fresh water pond once used as a gathering place by the young people of the island. You will also see Ancient Temple Grounds, Sacred Ancient Marae sites, plantations, the remnants of a World War II bunker built by Americans. Your guide will also take you to the top of Mt Maunga Pu for you to view the breathtaking panoramic view of the island and its spectacular lagoon.
