The Highland Paradise Cultural Centre offers a truly interactive experience which allows visitors to personally relive our Polynesian yesterdays through self guided or guided on-site gentle strolling tours amongst the lush gardens, village remains, replica are's (houses), historical areas of great significance and towering native trees.
A hearty, traditional 'turou' warrior challenge will welcome you to the centre and during your walking tours, you will be introduced to the spiritual maraes, the high chief's rock throne, the canoe navigator's ompass rock, the ocean voyaging skills of our forefathers and much, much more.
